Human rights defender profile: Andrew Makoni from Zimbabwe

Andrew Makoni is a human rights lawyer from Zimbabwe. He talks to ISHR about his work defending the right to freedom of expression and the right to assembly. He highlights the importance of the international community speaking out in support of democratic space in his country, particularly in the lead-up to elections in 2018. Andrew participated in an ISHR training in 2016.
